We have agreed to work in the Katowice area reaching out as far as Silesian agglomeration boundaries. We are looking for a point of abstraction – a kind of gap, a recess, a peripheral dimension in the familiar area at 50.295 N 19.020 E. We want to discover, domesticate and appropriate. Freely and sincerely. Just like we used to do during childhood playtime, building blanket dens in the middle of the living room, stick shacks or bases in the bushes to protect ourselves from the imaginary enemy. Our plan is simple – at first we get together and do field work. We can do absolutely anything, but for us the most important thing is how we want to do it. In the best possible way – as before, together, collectively. The emotional impact, consisting of shared experience, conversations, discussions and stories, is one of the most important things in art. We work it out and treat it as the cornerstone of the NBF cycle. In the still open project we are looking forward to lots of chats, French skipping, sling-shooting and climbing trees.
